The four elements of life are Earth, Air, Fire and Water. They each have metaphysical properties as well as physical properties.
The four elements correlate with the four suits of the Minor Arcana of the tarot. They also correlate with individual cards of the Major Arcana.
The term “Major Arcana” means “Greater Secrets.” The twenty-two cards of the Major Arcana contain the most spiritual messages and lessons of the tarot, and tell the story of our journey through life.
When we learn the elemental associations for each of the Major Arcana cards, we have a clear way to understand these important cards.
This 75 minute webinar will help the tarot student more fully understand the four elements. It will provide a deeper way to comprehend each of the Major Arcana cards. The student will be able to more fully interpret the Major Arcana cards, whether reading for yourself or others.

1. The Powers and Properties of the Four Elements
As we see in the table, to the four elements are attributed all functions and aspects of human life. An understanding of the four elements contributes to our ability to keep balance in our lives, and to understand esoteric systems such as tarot.
2. The Fool's Journey
The Major Arcana, or "Greater Secrets" of the tarot, depicts the archetypal journey of the Fool. It is attributed to the fifth suit of ether. There is a credible tradition that also assigned elements to the individual cards. If we study each card from the perspective of its element, we discover new ways to understand and interpret the Major Arcana.
3. Major Arcana Elements
As we look through each elemental grouping within the Major Arcana, we see some that make perfect sense, and others that cause us to have to think about the card more deeply.
4. Personal Correspondences
Since astrological signs are attributed to elements, we can see the group of Major Arcana cards that relate to our particular sun sign, or rising sign.
5. Major Arcana Elemental Reading
Each student will perform a four-card Major Arcana Elemental Reading.

Sorry I'm responding so late-I'm getting used to everyone's websites and I've been extremely busy-I'll try to check more often.
I enjoy the Mary-El so much-it's functional beauty resonates with me so well...the majors are a little easier for me to grasp...now to study the minors and courts. I learned so much concerning the elements-I discovered and learned that it brings more depth to each card and readings.
